97F today and with the dreaded PA humidity at 70%. Now that's bad. Forecast 100+ Fri and Sat. No rain for many weeks - wildfire threat 'elevated'. No barbeques in woodland areas allowed. Eagle's air-conditioning bill also 'elevated'.

Abbey - be thankful you're not in this.

73F here barely merits the 'mild' category!

I was wanting to go back home in 5 minutes.I know they say this is a dry state but the humidity is up more then usual. It is just nasty outside. When you look out the window it looks like a beautiful day...when you go outside you immediately start to sweat! I hate sweating! It is bad when it is too hot to go swimming! Tmbsgrl,

You need a little vacation up to the wilds of Northern Idaho! Generally cool, we are having nice 70 to 80 degree weather.

I've got to say - you've got to be tough to live where you live.

Not to hot today here. But there were a few days where squigler did not eat well due to the heat. He just turned 3 months yesterday:)

The Dr was concerned that he has a bias to his left.

Physical theripist thinks he is okay though:)

We just have to encourage him to look to the right more.

She said it is common now that the kids are left on their backs not tummies.

Well back to the heat issue. It was hot a few days ago but is okay here today:)

In Colorado we often say if you don't like the weather wait 15 minutes.

The bad thing is on the days that were hot the humidity was such that our swamp cooler was not effective.

You'll dig that even more if your hub has good pecs and a six-pack.

You're right, 109, 115f degrees is just too dang hot!!! No and's, if's, or but's !

I would rather it be 32f degrees freezing, at least then you could put on a sweater or coat. But we have had people also die from freezing to death here, so we need a happy medium-say someplace where it's 75f degrees year round!
