Dear forumgarden,

I'm just introducing myself as I just joined. Dan Howitt and I live in the upstate region of New York, around Lake Placid. I've been enjoying your forum for a while and thought I'd join. Thanks for offering this.

Hi Dan! I was in upstate NY while in the Air Force. I spent about 3 years in Rome during the winter of '93.

Hi Dan,

Welcome to the garden..hope you have lots of good times here.

You live in a gorgeous area. Do you live near Lake Minnewaska? We stayed at the Lake Minnewaka Resort hotel a few times and had a fabulous time. Unfortunately, the hotel was torn down, but at least we spent the last weekend there before it was torn down.
