I'm taking Spanish I this semester and am having a haaaard time with it. Are there any bilingual folks out there or people who have at least acquired a basic knowledge of another language?
I need tips and pointers. I usually maintain Dean's List status, but this class is threatening my sanity.
Help!

I believe you can go get a spanish dictionary that might help. I can count to 5 in spanish. I will check with my brother who lives in Mexico half the year and see what I can find for you.

Read the Spanish newspaper daily in Spanish, there are many online versions.
If you have specific questions, PM me, I speak Spanish, and quite a few others here probably do also.

That's a GREAT idea! I'll get that Spanish dictionary in hand, and work thru each article
It's been hard to memorize the hundreds of words necessary without having some sort of context to place them in.
Thanks!
