Dying Eggs

Post by Sheryl »

So do you like dying eggs? Do you keep it simple, one color per egg? Or do you get fancy with glitter, stencils, and such?

I bought two different dying kits this year. I got a camoflauge kit for Zakk to use and a stencil kit for Ayden. Actually she picked it out, I was trying to get her to pick the glitter kit. But the kid knows what she wants. :wah:

We'll dye our eggs tomorrow evening. I plan on doing about 3 dozen. We'll be eating egg salad for awhile though. :o

My egg salad is simple, eggs, mustard, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and maybe some paprika. Oh and mayo..miracle whip, not the real stuff

Me and my 18 year old daughter will be coloring eggs tonight. She's still a kid at heart like her mother when it comes to holidays. :D We may do a few with my 3 year old grandson when he comes tomorrow.

We always do the paas dye coloring kit.....and easiest to just throw them in a cup with the dye and let the eggs turn color...I wanted to use the fun different kinds when the kids were little, but it was just too much for my head to grasp!!:o

do you write on the eggs with the clear crayon?....we always write names on the eggs, even the animals had an egg!!
