Just wanted to stop by and say Happy Easter to everyone here at the ForumGarden with hope that you had a most enjoyable Easter and had the chance to eat some scrumptious, fattening-put-on-pounds jelly beans, chocolate eggs and all that other sweet good stuff!

Hi Carol!

yes i did have a lovely Easter Sunday, went to church this morning, lots of people there, we have a great preacher but he was really inspiring this morning!

had a nice lunch with my mom,

Jacob loved his Easter basket!

carried him to see his other grandparents, they had an Easter basket for him too, some of his cousins were there and he got to hide Easter eggs with them, he really liked that, he didn't want to stop after all the eggs had been found!:wah:

i think he really enjoyed his day but he got really tired he went to sleep soon as we got home.

morning everyone,

bit better here today, the wind has dropped ( but then i've had no vodka either

) its still raining and im soaked through cos i got stuck in the fields for 30mins this morning. theres a guy that walks two english bull terriers in the car park and they attack anything that moves, including each other and i didnt dare take my dog past them so i had to wait til he put them back in the car and drove off.

It was just on the local news about some blokes stealing a pregnant sheep and kicking and bashing it.....then getting a knife and doing gawd knows what and then throwing it into the sea..........tell ye Im so bloody angry and upset here..........the dirty rotten toerags...........love to cut their balls off...... the heartless gits.

To be honest, Carol, there is so much depressing 'news' on all the time. I try to avoid the 'main' news and just watch our local stuff, and even that is depressing more often than not. No wonder people go 'off the rails'. With so many news bulletins on each day, you would think they would keep a slot for 'good news only'. Cynically, I suppose, they may not find enough good news to fill that slot each day !

There seems to be an upsurge in this kind of nasty cruelty. It does take a very brave individual within a group of youngsters, to say 'No I am not joining in with that nasty cruel activity'. Also within this so-called 'gang culture' they have initiation ceremonies which involve this sort of activity, or criminal damage, or muggings etc., in order to be accepted as a member of a gang.

These people are the future of mankind ------------------- God help us all !!

WHY PARENTS DRINK

The boss wondered why one of his most valued employees had not phoned in sick one day. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. ' Hello ? '

'Is your daddy home?' he asked.

' Yes ,' whispered the small voice.

May I talk with him?'

The child whispered, ' No .'

Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, 'Is your Mommy there?' ' Yes .'

'May I talk with her?' Again the small voice whispered, ' No .'

Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, 'Is anybody else there?'

' Yes ,' whispered the child, ' a policeman '.

Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, 'May I speak with the policeman?'

' No, he's busy ', whispered the child.

'Busy doing what?'

' Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman ,' came the whispered answer.

Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, 'What is that noise?'

' A helicopter ' answered the whispering voice.

'What is going on there?' demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive.

Again, whispering, the child answered, ' The search team just landed a helicopter .'

Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, 'What are they searching for?'

Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle... ' meee ...he...he...he.'

been pretty busy today so thats keeping everyone happy here !!

got hospital tomorrow so i shall find out when they are going to have another go at that elusive kidney stone:-1

the sun is shining straight through my windows so i can now see another job i've got to do this week or i wont be able to see out of them soon :rolleyes:

Hiya Kay !! Let's face it Mrs, you're run down - over doing it, so of course you are vulnerable to catching anything that's going around. It usually takes a couple of days for a 'cold' to rear it's ugly head, so maybe you got yourself a chill ! Who have you mixed with a couple of days ago who may have had sniffles and sneezes ? You can catch these things just going round the shops ! Any way I do hope you can throw it off soon Kay XXX
