Hello again:-6

Had a fantastic time last night,11 of us went out for dinner & reminisced about our "younger" days.

Talked about how we all used to get together & watch the test pattern on the ABC as we couldn't get telly out here.

Then when colour telly came out we did the same again:wah:

When colour telly finally got here,every Sunday afternoon at 5pm we would pack our kids up go to our mates Mum's house (she had a telly) & we would all sit & watch """Disneyland""" fun times.

Then we got on to the radio shows we used to listen to & the sound effects they used to use on the shows,laugh,laugh,laugh.

It was great to meet up with everyone last night,we are all so busy with our lives we don't make time to do things like that often enough.

Best laugh we have had for a long time.:-4

work, or not wanting your close area to be identified. Does it really matter? There must be police officers, government officials, doctors etc etc, who, just for a bit of escapism, enjoy participating in a forum like this. It would not be a good idea for them to make themselves vulnerable by revealing a traceable identity,or publishing a photograph of themselves now would it ? Yes Carol, I hear what you say, and I feel the same way, believe it or not. But at the same time I've got to respect somebody's need to remain unidentified for whatever reason. By being like that, unfortunately, nobody can know if they have a problem, or they are sad about something, or even if they are at their wits end - times when you or anybody else could perhaps offer a little comfort, a shoulder to cry on, kind, sympathetic words, even advice or just an ear to listen to them sounding off. That of course is the downside, as you say. Maybe they are so private and prefer it that way, it is their choice. There is always the private messaging facility, if they did need a sympathetic and understanding ear.

Having said all that, I understand that keeping their cards close to their chest, does cause a certain amount of suspicion and doubt, and that of course is a reaction which is, under the circumstances, quite understandable. That I'm afraid is something they will have to put up with, from a lot of people.
