Everyone's fault but his and his son's. Disgusting. That's the sort of parenting that leads to the "no responsibility" societies we seem to live in these days.
I suspect the son would be safer in gaol. His life expectancy outside cannot be great...

this is an old ruse by the guilty.they try to turn themselves into the injured party.they get so carried away and passionate that they believe it themselves!!this father is doing that by proxy!and he dosnt seem to have the slightest knowledge or is totaly apathetic to bereavement.sadley tho his turn will come and he will possibly know those parents grief.but i susspect even then he willl turn the blame to another sorce.it will probably be gods fault all along (whilst denying all his life the existence of god)

sounded like maximum five years per conviction and he has 6 counts. So... 30 years maximum.

Justice Philip Cummins will deliver his sentence at 4pm (AEDT) - that's not long off. You'll post a link when you see one?

That's good to hear because to me this guy doesn't deserve to see daylight again. He killed 6 people that is murder, murder, murder, murder, murder, murder just because it was in a car and not with a gun makes no difference still a MURDER weapon with a wheel. My opinion anyway.

It always seemed to me that murder was intentional. Unlawful killing could be criminally careless. Obviously different jurisdictions use different language for these things but murder ought to be pretty much the same wherever you go. Doesn't it demand intention?

Spot your correct at least vehicular manslaughter with a mandatory life sentence would do in this case. He fled the scene of the crime that is called "Hit and Run" and at least here in the states carries a sentence of its own.
