Happy Anniversary Friends of Carol

As many of you may or may not know, the Friends of Carol thread will be 1 year old on April 6th. As it's newest member I would like to express my thoughts on this great bunch of people.

First let me say that as a newbie on FG I met many nice people but I was scanning around one day and happened upon Friends of Carol and decided to check it out. As soon as I got on there, Kaylene saw my name and invited me in, I love you Sis, you're a sweetheart!

Carol, you welcomed me with open arms, even though I was a complete stranger, I love you for that Sis!

Kaz, G#Gill, Helen, MrsK and Chezzie, you have treated me as part of the family from the beginning, thank you and my love to you!

And Jj my dear Jj, many people see you as a flirt, but the time I have spent talking to you I have found you to be a very charming, intelligent and interesting guy, and as well as a flirt ,lol, and I love you too!

And my new friends Qsducks and Chrisb84Uk, you are both good people and very interesting, we have spent a lot of time talking and have become good friends. My love to you as well

And a special word to Kathy Ellen, I know you pop into FOC about everyday to see how things are going. I remember when I first came on FG you were one of the first people to welcome me, you are a sweetheart and my love to you as well.

This is a wonderful group of people who always have a kind word and a listening ear when you need one and I feel very lucky to have found them!:-4

awwwwwwwww sis thank you for your loving words. Through this thread I have gained a little sis who I have always wanted. Its like a big happy family, and we are all there for each other through the good times and the bad. I see a lot of people reading our thread and please feel free to join in, your most welcome:) Carol and I go back a lotta years and I luv her to bits....even though she is posh and I am the tart:D. I have also met many wonderful friends here in the Carolly thread and it is like a second family to me too. Always something in my email from somebody. Hope, your email keeps bouncing back, so could you check it babe & pm me. Kay, Helen, Gill, Jj (don't really know him:)), KathyEllen, and all my friends from a former forum are also here and we are having so much fun everyday. This place and thread rocks!!!!!

Now seriously................so many on FG have come to mean so much to me.Some have turned out to be such good friends here and away from FG........I know it sounds dead corny and has been said before but its true.....yes we are like a family.We dont also agree on certain things.....may even row.....but true friendship means you can do this and still would defend that person no matter what if anybody hurt them as love for a friend just dont die that easy.

My lovely friend Kay.....we have known each other the longest and I was indeed a pc virgin when we "met" some years ago (oh boy am I gonna suffer for putting "that" word lol) we clown about so much and yet she is indeed a best friend and one day I hope we will meet...............

Kaz..........well..........what can I say..........shes just a dear dear person and friend who I share so much with and I feel so proud to be able to call a friendxxx

Gill........and I have shared many late nights talking and again has been a good friend.

Helen makes me laugh so much with her dry humour and I know one day will find the happiness she so deserves;)

Kathy.....Chez......MrsK....Hope......Ducky.....Chris.....Pheasy......Angel......are such special people and each one has so many qualities and also I have to say have me in fits of laughter here at times.....so much so I get some very odd looks.....thanks guysxxx

CAROL, GILL, KAZ, JOAN and me (after several attempts to get on here :-5 ) came here first and now have been joined by so many brilliant people we would never have met if it hadnt been for this site.

if i had a penny for every hour ive spent on here, i could probably afford a round trip by now to meet you all:rolleyes:

just want to say thanks for the support, advice, fun ,laughter and an endless supply of tissues when i've needed them (and i have needed them at times )

HI DUCKS,

thats grandchild number 13 !!and sadly my last one :-1 she was only a few hours old in that pic and will be 9mths on 9th april. her name is chessaray, they got the name from a rickie lake programme :rolleyes:

so ive got my own personal chezzie now :wah:

im not even contemplating that yet though it is possible with oldest grandaughter nearly 21, thank heavens the grandsons are still young enough to think girls are something to be avoided at all costs:wah:
