My little Quin 6yrs thinks of only one girl who won't bother giving him the time of day. He even got her a ring (fake) and gave it to her and she goes and gives it to her friend. He was so miffed. But, alas, he still has eyes for her only:-4

The success of the FOC'er thread is down the members who use it day in and day out and post the wonderful funny posts we read there each day. I dont know of any other thread which is as successful...

Chez let me tell you something and Im not giving you aload of old crap and I am saying this from the heart.You have become a very special lady to me as I know you have also to so many others here.You are a very funny.....thoughtful and caring lady and feel so happy you have become I feel a very good friend.It dosent matter we are both behind a screen and prob will never meet........the friendship is as strong as if you were in my room talking to me at times.So many on the focers I feel like that with and sometimes you cant explain the closeness you feel towards a person you have never met.Anyway Ive rambled on as normal:rolleyes:and why didnt I just say.........fanks ChezzyBaby....:-5....now I need a lay down after all that typing:rolleyes:Talk soon Girlfriend;)xxxx

I can't name every one or I will forget someone for sure.

The Foc's were kind enough to welcome me into the group to post & share a bit of news.

I usually post a bit of poetry as I know some like it,& a joke now & then.

These days I am lucky to get on here in the mornings to say hello.

Things have really speed up in my life & I am busy,busy.

Not to busy to thank everyone who welcomed me & treated me as part of their group.For the laughs & helping each other out when needed;)

Hello all of you, I was going to save this till the 6th (Sunday), but things have conspired against me, so I shall put this on now.

Rhonda, thank you so much for starting this 'Anniversary Thread'. I have been reading the lovely messages on all the posts so far, and it has brought a tear or two to my eyes. When I think back to the very beginning, I remember the tears it brought to my eyes then, when my friends from another forum joined in. I started it for Carol, it is her thread, some sort of compensation for what occured on another forum. I never imagined that the thread would take off as it did, and it is down to everybody who posts, everybody who has posted but gone on to pastures new, everybody who just 'popped in' to say 'hi' not really intending to stay but did anyway, and all the new people who are taking up residence on FOC.

I want to thank you all for your support over the months, and I do hope sincerely that you will continue to support FOC. I have tried to look in on as many threads on the forum as I can, and cannot find any that are quite like FOC. We do try to welcome everybody, because we really are pleased to see you. We all try to be friendly, which is not difficult given the lovely people who join us. Yes we are zany, we pull each other's legs, call each other names - but we all know that it is meant to be in fun. We have serious times. Somebody has a problem, they know that somebody will be here for them, to help, encourage, cheer them up, or just be a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen. There are jokes, lovely poems, pictures, stories, true anecdotes, the whole lot, all sorts of stuff. I think that is what has made this thread so successful and enduring. This thread seems to be breaking all sorts of records, and I do hope it will continue to do so. There are debating threads on the forum if somebody needs to get their teeth into something serious and feels they have something to offer that debate. But we do 'serious' discussion on here from time to time as well, although I believe the emphasis is humour, fun and idiot zaniness.

I thank you all for making FOC so successful, and raise a glass --- here's to the next 12 months of enjoyment and friendship !!!

I remember Carol saying to me come to this new Forum I have found and never seemed to have time to come, then another friend I was talking to said to me are you in the garden and I said no I hate gardening and she said no Forum garden:D anyhow I thought I must pop in as Carol said there was a thread there so I did.

Well what a wonderful forum and better still the focer thread is my home away from home. I have made some wonderful friends. You know if you have a problem or if your feeling down or even if you have a bit of news you want to share there is always someone there to listen.
