I think they're claiming to have invented cold fusion, which is what I think it would take! Sounds like a con job to me.

Lone voice: "I'm not."

This idea isn't new. I used to collect old magazines and catalogs. In some ancient issues of Popular Mechanics I saw similar ads. Can't remember just how it was supposed to work but, I'd pass on it.

Incidently, the new craze car that runs on compressed air? Was tried in the 1940's if I remember correctly. It was also in an old issue of Popular Mechanics.

This is an easy and cheap system that has been around for at least thirty years. The patent was bought up by one of the oil companies and squashed.

A secondary pump injects water into the inlet manifold just upstream on the valve right next to an ultrasonic transducer strong enough to atomise the jet. During combustion the water droplets are turned into steam and the change of volume drives the engine - the increased efficiency is accounted for by the cooler running of the engine.

Need to add a drain point at the low part of the exhaust to prevent rotting but you should have one there anyway (they don't - built in obsolescence).

My mistake - I saw that it was a water / petrol combination and jumped. To be honest I stopped reading when it claimed to be running on HHO gas.

If this process was actually feasible & did work, can anybody guess how much a gallon of "water" would then cost?! :D  ;) :wah:
