days when things go right, you get things done....you need a hammer and don't want to bug the neighbor, but hey...he's out in his yard on this beautiful day, so you ask politely and he's happy to help you out.....:-6

Today was another busy and productive day in "Wendy's World" and its 1:30am, and I feel good about getting all the things on my mental list done (don't tell the b/f....he's a paper list maker:rolleyes:) There is one more thing....ummm yeah school work....yayyyyyy......:-5:-5:-5

Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there, that its nice when things to go right, even though there are other things that could be even better, its good to appreciate the smaller things in life, like having a cabinet in my bathroom to store all my "bathroom stuff":D

It was fun watching my brother work his butt off at my apartment!!:wah::wah:

He hung up a storm door for me that I bought 3 years ago, I asked about 4 different men to hang it at the other house and they never did, so I guess it was meant to be my door here. Its really nice with a screen built inside of the door and the window slides up and down...whooo hoooo yayyy memeeeee!!

Thanks Nomad, I do like it here, except for the plumbing issues....the other night the washing machine flooded the apartment and now the toilet and tub are stopped up and I've fought all day to get them un-clogged. The landlord came over and looked at it and said that I could call a plumber or he will be over to try and fix it tomorrow....that was before it got really bad. I have a tub full of water from toilet water right now .....:yh_sick:(

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments also.....unfortunately today wasn't as productive and well, it all around sucked. It rained all day and as I stated above, it was a real "crappy" day.

But, tomorrow is another day!:-6

Thank you Cars, and right you are. I went and got a MUCH needed massage and then dropped off my resume at a animal hospital that is less than 10 minutes from where I am living now. They just put the ad in the paper for a receptionist over the weekend. I was one of three women applying at the same time. I recognized one of the ladies that worked there, we used to go to church together back in the day (over 12 years ago) and we talked for a few minutes, little did I know that she is the office manager, I found out as I was walking out the door....:o:o

I am excited to see what happens, I would LOVE to work around animals, and its very close, save on gas and no traffic...NONE!!:yh_pray:yh_pray:yh_pray

Well, unfortunately men (landlord and plumber)were working on my plumbing issue from 6pm to almost 10pm tonight and still couldn't get it to work, so they will be back tomorrow....the fun part was the mud they tracked all through the house and left it for me to clean up....:-5:-5:-5

Too bad my guy is not down your way. As for Sunday, most supply stores are closed and they charge you out the *ss on that day. Your problem would have been fixed by now.:)

Well, no one came out on Sunday, the landlord brought me a steam cleaner to use as a wet vac to get all of the water out of the carpet. I told him I would try to snake it out and use drain cloggers, which of course only made it worse.

Today (Wed) the plumber came in as stated above and I realized about an hour after he left that he didn't hook the toilet back up, so I had to do it myself....ugh....:-5:-5

Ha, no....actually he is a friend of the dude that lives in the house on the property, and me and dude were talking last night briefly as I was headed out to the store, and he told me that the plumber thought I was beautiful and wanted to know if I was single....I laughed and said...OH is that why he didn't hook my toilet back up?? So, I'd call him back to help me out again???

yeah, funny you should mention that....because ummm, that was my response....he saw me in my night-gown!!!:o I didn't expect him when he showed up at my door, my dogs were barking, but figured they were barking at the neighbors dog, so I just jumped up in my nightgown with no bra and hardly covering my butt!!:-3 and when I saw him and his helper I ran to the bed as soon as possible!! I was so embarrassed.....so when dude told me about him finding me attractive, I said...."yeah, he saw me half naked"....knowing that he just probably wanted to jump in bed with me.......:o :-5
