Surely that can't be for real? I mean what a drag for the wife too. I noticed that was supposedly written in victorian times, which is known for being staid and prudish but now they say that wasn't completely true. I should hope not.

All I can say is that if every woman followed this twisted piece of writing, hardly anyone would even actually conceive very often. It was a good thing that lots of people didn't know how to read.

I think the woman writing this had some serious issues.

Most men, if not denied, would demand sex almost every day. The wise bride will permit a maximum of two brief sexual experiences weekly during the first months of marriage. As time goes by she should make every effort to reduce this frequency.

Not much has changes over the years...:(:-1
