Mrsa

Post by Victoria »

I was watching the news this morning and there was a quick mention of a story in one of the newspapers that says 'don't let your dog lay on your bed it might have MRSA'

My dogs all have their own beds but even so I thought I would check it out.

I found every study I looked at shows there is far more risk at catching MRSA from a human than a cat or dog also staph infections 28% of humans carry them and only 13% of cats and dogs.

I don't think I will worry too much about kissing the dog but as from now aunt Jean and uncle Bob will not get a kiss goodbye I'll just wave from a safe distance!:wah:
