Actually we are staying at the posh Hotel there this time.....its really nice.....also it will be 60s week with all the 60s groups.I went last year and saw The Searchers.....Animals.........Union Gap......The Dreamers.....all good old English groups from that time.There were loads more but cant remember their names

I will only be away for a few days but that will do me;)

Chris had to cancel his appointment, after all that struggle with the 'clean-prep', it just hadn't done the job in time. Too complicated to explain. He says he will not go through that again unless it's a life or death situation, and I can't say I blame him ! So he's just going to revert back to a more natural treatment that he had already started a couple of weeks ago, and it was beginning to improve things for him. At the moment he is asleep in the chair next to me, having starved himself for 36 hours except for the revolting 'clean-prep' of which he had to drink 3 litres in about 4 hours. So the poor fella is fast asleep with an empty tummy, but I shall let him sleep - he had very little sleep last night.

So that is why I'm able to come on here at the moment.

The stuff he had to drink was colourless, three sachets, a litre's worth in each sachet. It smelt like creme soda, but apparently (I certainly didn't try it !) it tasted nothing like creme soda, and it made him feel sick all the time ( this is supposed to be quite normal !). It had a dreadful taste and after his first sachet was downed, he diluted the second sachet with twice as much water, which made it just a fraction easier to drink. YUK !! So Chris probably drank about 5 litres in about 5 hours !! :-5

Booty means 'treasure' or spoils of theft etc.

As for the American version for butt, well, I would have thought they would have called it 'trunky' seeing as 'trunk' is what they call the rear end of a car :wah::wah:

The rear end of an English car is 'boot', but I don't think we call a backside a 'booty' ! We call a person's backside a 'bottom' ( I suppose that's because it is at the bottom of the trunk of a person's body), and that is often shortened to 'bum'. I won't type the more common word for bum, cos it will have **** put in it's place :yh_rotfl
