Petrol is over £5 a gallon now......the oil companys are making billions and yet every day it seems the petrol is getting dearer.The problem also is because we have gone over that £ a litre mark it seems like anything goes.65p a litre goes to our dear government and that will be going up again also in September.Im not sure but I think we pay about double to what our American friends do.So what is the answer?Get a bike.....walk...use public transport to which some will and can do.To us that cant we will moan,stamp our feet,write on threads like this but at the end of the day.......yes we will have to pay it.

Diesel in my town is $4.17, give or take a few cents. My bro owns his own trucking outfit. Don't know for how much longer though.
