Who likes/dislikes their job?

Post by Tan »

Tell the truth...I really want to know!

I love my jobs. Does anyone hate what they do? Can't get enough of it or can't take it anymore?

have to say a bit of both, some days love it for the camaraderie and doing something that makes a positive difference in a life.........and some days hate it for the utter exhaustion and the scumweasel factor. but in my heart, i love law enforcement for the occasional satisfaction of helping others. and even saving a life sometimes. truth be known, i also like taking a real dirtbag off the street.

I love the people I work for & with. They treat me with respect & I them. My boss (a lady) hugs me...how great is that ?

I have loads of independence & they let me do my job with very little interference.

I could do much worse

And I have.

Im happy.

I do everything from line work making the pizzas or garlic breads - to packing and shipping - Depends on what I feel like that day- My mom has been there 25 years, my older sister 23 years, my other sister 4 years - and then there is me! We have a good time and its fun...Then I bartend at a local pub - We serve food too, so I waitress sometimes..cook sometimes...Whatever they need- I am layed off in the summer from the Fundraising job becuase most of the schools are closed and no kids are out peddling..LOL Its a multi- million $$ company and has been in business for years and years!!! It is run by 10 peopel in all - Can u believe that?? so over head is low- and he has 3 sons that do A LOT! - Ok enough babbling.........Have a good one!! HISTORY

Party Time Fundraising started as a deli and Ice Cream shop in 1973. It was, and still is operated by Norm and Joan Anderson and family, in Carroll, IA. The concept of "We Make-em" pizzas originated with Party Time Fundraising. In our first fundraising experience, we catered a pizza sale for the Scranton, IA. Jaycees. We furnished all of the ingredients for freshly made pizzas and they provided the sales and labor. Scranton is a small town of approximately 500 people and the Jaycees sold over 900 pizzas. It was such a huge success that other area Jaycees and schools soon began calling and they all experienced the same great fundraising results. We became so busy doing fundraising that we sold the deli and Party Time Fundraising was born. Our first school fundraising project was held at Denison, Iowa with the band and they are still one of our best customers to this day. We are very proud of the fact that 98% of the schools and non-profit groups that use Party Time Fundraising as their fundraiser supplier, repeat sales with us year after year. They tell us that our service and our quality products are the best in the industry.

In the years since 1973 we have grown, and brother Lynn and his wife Patti and their family live and operate Party Time Fundraising in our home state of Wisconsin. We boast a new USDA inspected facility at our Carrol, IA location, and proudly serve all of the mid-west. Our philosophy has always been to provide the best quality products for the purchaser. That philosophy is tied to the belief that the "Purchase price is long forgotten, but the quality of the product will be remembered forever." The faithful adherence to this belief has led our customers to the knowledge that when it comes from Party Time Fundraising, it will be GOOD!!!

Who likes/dislikes their job?

Post by cars »

When I used to still work, I was in charge of 177 M & F engineers in a major Aircraft company, and most of the time I liked my job very much. However, there were times with all those different personalaties intermingled, that some childish antics occured between the workers- that I had to mediate over, and repremand the parties involved, that part of my job was uncomfortable. Then there was Merit raise time twice a year, when all upper mgmt gave me was a stingy "3"% raise budget to spread around. Needless to say, for the "excellent workers" to be able get a 6 or 7 % raise, meant that the average workers (still doing a good job) would have to get a "0" increase. That part of my job I really, really hated to no end!!

So at times I liked my Job very much, and at other times I hated it very much!!
