Now that I think about it, my roundabout way of trying to get my point over seems to irritate some people. Especially if they don't agree with me.

i have changed my idea's on quite a few issue's just reading the to and throwing of the fg brainiac's
i like it when spot and hoff aka gallybally have a difference ,no nastiness no name calling just different sides of a debate just purely on facts
why cant we all do that ? why do we have to always be right ? none of us can really know everything so whats the big deal
i have never ever had a problem saying sorry when i'm wrong (probably coz i'm in the wrong so much :p) and if someone is not big enough to say sorry when its so obvious they know they are wrong i cant think of any way they could humiliate themselves more
but if you are one of those people that wont admit you are wrong here are a few tips to help you out

Change doesn't happen overnight.
It's always a good idea to be presented with the facts before coming to an opinion. Sometimes forums like FG cause people to change their opinions about their first reactions to one line topics. At times people post tedious information that really results in no improvement. ok there might be change but not improved change. For example in current news, I could very well have an immediate opinion about a certain subject upon first hearing what has happened though reading very little about it. Then I could hear what others had to say. All the facts, etc... and could absorb a substantial amount of what the truth was. Then I could let it sink in a while. Meanwhile my brain could be growing some new connections etc....since I'd had the advantage of reading about the facts. So I form an opinion taking into consideration what really has occured, not my unfortunate fabrication of said event. Next however, I consider how weary I've become reading pages of facts and logic. Something is changing within me. Very good! yet I'm starting to doze off. After that I'm awakened by birds chirping at the first hint of light. And as usual I turn over and go back to sleep for as long as I can.

I have learned to read the first and last sentence in some posts. Do you reckon that is a mistake?
