Lisa stayed with us last night. She went out to dinner with her husband and the kids. On my way to bed I passed them in the hall and they were all hugging. Shes gone now. A bed opened up and shes in treatment.

She left a note on the counter to us (and the kitty) that spring is coming and she feels shes about to be born. :wah::-6

From the bottom of my heart thank you FG guys and gals.

Thank you Lord.

Nomad, I am so happy for you and your family. Tell your sister we are all so very proud of her and wish her all the good times ahead.

One day at a time.

Send her lots of cards and letters when it's allowed. Let her know she's in your heart.

You did a very good thing and I'm very proud of you, too. And your family for loving her because of you.

You, your family and your sister are still in my prayers and I'm sending mental images of a wonderful future her way. (Didn't know I could do that, did you?);)

You did it. You all did it!

Now breathe. Take a hot bath & be proud of yourself. You know probably better than any of us that it's not over, but enjoy this break. If the time's ever right, tell Lisa we're proud of her as well. :-6

Lisa is strong.

She sounded like her old self.

Full of **** and vinegar.

There might be some drastic changes in her life but shes seeing her life with clarity and I think she can handle it.

The changes are ones she might initiate.

Thanks for asking.

The short answer is that its complicated and its not been a smooth transition.

Documents from lawyers and such.

Right now shes in the eye of the storm.

Im still hanging on to a shred of optimism for her and her family.

But Ive also been called naive more than once.

Well the problem isnt her, its everyone else.

No one did what they said they would do.

Zero support.

My dad didnt even know shed gone in and completed the program.

His claims of unconditional love are void of any meaning whatsoever.

Apathetic ******* !

She was supposed to get help and she did.

For that she got served divorce papers and kicked in the teeth by a few others.

Jeeez, that seems so very harsh...Words and empty promises are not helpful, can understand the divorce as he must of been through hell too but really shitty timing. Can only wish you well matey and hope shes strong enough to carry on with her recovery.

Nomad this is painful to read and I had hoped for a better outcome. She has a lot of fences to mend, and some may not be fixable. She has to do this for herself no one else right now. What will be, will be. :(
