but the reason i must go is to be honest i'm weak i'm not strong enough to stay away from you guys,things in my life are in the crapper big time i must play adult for a while and sort out my daughters life and my loved ones all around me too i must not stay on fg and lose myself for hours and days on end its all too easy here

i need to get real .... i have learned so much from all of you , i have grown a lot and learned a thing or two

people say its only the Internet but lets be honest you only get out of fg what you put into it , if you stand on the sidelines skulking in the shadows anonymouse like taking cheap shots at people you are not going to get much out of it are you but if you post your life ,your photo and pour your heart and soul into the place you will get back every bit of kindness and care you give out a hundred fold , fg is a great place to be i will be back :sneaky::sneaky:

fg will get by just fine without jimbo for a while but jimbo will struggle without fg but thats the way it has to be for a time

i have been here two years and made hundreds of friends and as far as i know only two people dont like me (ok maybe thats a bit optimistic ):wah:not bad really

so to every person out there its a big big thank you from jimbo , i will be back under a new name one day i wonder who will be the first person to spot me , note to all newbies it might be worth putting an i'm not jimbo into your intro thread ... bye for now guys i love you all

You're right jimbo, when I first became part of the FG family, I used to spend hours on end day after day in here. I was addicted as well. After a couple of years, it did start to interfere with RL, so proper balance must be found.

In any event, why would you want to come back here under a new name, you are taking a rest as jimbo, just leaving for a while to deal with RL. Not leaving due to shame, or bad feelings. So jimbo, why not consider staying jimbo!

I understand where your coming from Jimbo and I wish you well in sorting your stuff out....BUT, I will miss you loads on FG cos were like minded and I feel like your my partner in crime....I sometimes post things thinking, Jimbo will love this etc....

Guess i'll have to pester YGZI and Nomad a bit more....

I understand where you're coming from. I hope everything clicks into place soon for you so you can come back. But, I have a feeling you will be having so much fun with your real family, you won't miss us much. At least not until you see something funny on TV and want to tell us about it.

I'm another one like Minks and Cars! Although FG kept me going through a tough time of adjustment to being on my own with two children. When they went to bed I felt so alone and hooked up with everyone on here.

I think we all come here when we need something, eventually real life kicks in and you are here less and less, it's all about balance Jimbo!

I am so sorry that you're deleting your account, but certainly understand. I will miss you and Suzy terribly. Please come back as Jimbo not as another name.

I deleted my account twice:-5:-5, the first time because I was at the FG 24/7:wah:

We know how addicting our garden is. But now I have balance, as some members have said, in my life and pop in a few times a week, mostly on weekends since I have more time.

Best of love and luck to you and family......come home soon....or at least once in awhile....Be like the kid who goes away to college and comes home with all their washes:wah:

I'm sure you'll drop by in a year or two and there'll be a shout from the old guard. People do need to leave sometimes though. Posting on forums is as good an indicator of damage as I can think of and the exceptions to that are a small minority. Don't lose touch, stop off for a pint or something, maybe we'll drag the two of you out of retirement for a Meet when we manage to organize one again.

Oh crap!!! Jimbo has been assimilated, his posts it turns out were futile. No worries mate it will be illogical for the Borg to keep you for long (they have no sense of humor so you should drive them crazy shortly). I will put Data (Spot) onto the problem and Number one will make it so.
