Then, I think, you'd end up with anarchy in the short term.

The maintenance of law and order is backed up by the possibility of bringing in superior force if necessary. If a group of heavies can outpower the local law enforcement then law breaks down and becomes might makes right.

Eventually, society might evolve beyond this but it would take time.

If, however, a reserve of weapons was held back for use in exceptional circumstances by the law enforcement body then good things could happen but quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Sorry - it's "who will watch the watchers". If you give total power to a select few to watch over you and enforce the law then who will watch over them and ensure that they do not abuse their position.

Define what you mean by ’weapons’?

The weapons that we have today evolved over hundreds and thousands of years starting from the beginning when Cain clubed his brother Abel to death.

Sure, get rid of the missels, rockets, guns, gernades and we will return to bow and arrows.

Get rid of those and we will use swords and spears, then clubs and stones, why? Because we are fecken animals and we will always find some reason to hate someone, and some method of killing them. History proves it.

That is unless we step aside and let women rule the world, I think they would do a better job at it.

Then people would only be nagged to death, which is not so bad.

Well I think crap came from Thomas Crapper the guy who invented the toilet. Hence Im using the crapper which eventually was shortened to having a crap and crap being defined as meaning sh*t

But I may be talking utter crap and if I am, Im 100% positive someone will come along and correct me, with full grammer, no spelling mistakes and links to back em up.......:D

**** or shat, shit·ting, interjection Vulgar.

–noun

1. excrement; feces.

2. an act of defecating; evacuation.

3. the shits. diarrhea.

4. Slang. pretense, lies, exaggeration, or nonsense.

5. Slang. something inferior or worthless.

6. Slang. a selfish, mean, or otherwise contemptible person.

7. Slang. narcotic drugs, esp. heroin or marijuana.

8. Slang. possessions, equipment, mementos, etc.; stuff.

–verb (used without object)

9. to defecate.

–verb (used with object)

10. Slang. to exaggerate or lie to.

–interjection

11. Slang. (used to express disgust, disappointment, frustration, contempt, or the like).

—Idioms

12. give a ****, Slang. to care; be concerned.

13. no ****, (used to express amazement, incredulity, or derision).

14. up **** creek, Slang. in a desperate or hopeless situation; in serious trouble. Also, up shits creek, up **** creek without a paddle.

**** (v.)

O.E. scitan, from P.Gmc. *skit-, from PIE *skheid- "split, divide, separate." Related to shed (v.) on the notion of "separation" from the body (cf. L. excrementum, from excernere "to separate"). It is thus a cousin to science and conscience. The noun is O.E. scitte "purging;" sense of "excrement" dates from 1585, from the verb. Despite what you read in an e-mail, "****" is not an acronym. The notion that it is a recent word may be because the word was taboo from c.1600 and rarely appeared in print (neither Shakespeare not the KJV has it), and even in "vulgar" publications of the late 18c. it is disguised by dashes. It drew the wrath of censors as late as 1922 ("Ulysses" and "The Enormous Room"), scandalized magazine subscribers in 1957 (a Hemingway story in "Atlantic Monthly") and was omitted from some dictionaries as recently as 1970 ("Webster's New World"). Extensive slang usage; verb meaning "to lie, to tease" is from 1934; that of "to disrespect" is from 1903. Noun use for "obnoxious person" is since at least 1508; meaning "misfortune, trouble" is attested from 1937. Shat is a humorous past tense form, not etymological, first recorded 18c. *****, now a jocular or slightly euphemistic variant, formerly a dialectal variant, reflects the vowel in the O.E. verb (cf. Ger. scheissen). ****-faced "drunk" is 1960s student slang; **** list is from 1942. To not give a **** "not care" is from 1922; up **** creek "in trouble" is from 1937. Scared shitless first recorded 1936.
