We came in and they allowed folks to sit with your own group of friends and form up teams of 4 or 5. What they didn't tell us is that the wait staff and courtesy staff were dropping hints that had direct effect on the murder mystery. It wasn't until afterwards that we realized that from the moment we walked in, we were in the play. There is a program of sorts but you're fooled into thinking that's when the mystery starts when actually it started as soon as you walked in the door.
oh it sounds great fun!! god i wont be able to pay attention to hubs my dinner or anything:wah::wah:

Oh how exciting, I've always wanted to go on one of those, I hear they are brilliant fun, though some are quite hard to figure out.
As far as I know it is like a play, where you work together to try and crack the murder that is acted out over the night, (usually the one you least expect - remember that!)
Sounds like a real blast, so please do let us know what happens Kaza!! :-6

Well I had a quick look at some of the pics, and it does look stunning. Funnily enough my gran just came back from somewhere very, very similiar just in our area, and she loved it!
A lot of these rural castles or old buildings that have been turned into a hotel of sorts, tend to be beautiful. She was telling me that her bedroom was just a bit smaller than a whole floor of our house!!!
Not to mention the service she got there, sounded more like something out of a fairy tale in truth!!

I'm pretty sure it was something like Brockencote Manor or something along those lines. She only showed me a few photos and a brochure so I don't know lots about it, other than what she told me.
From what I hear though it's supposed to be lovely, and they treat you like royalty, something that more modern/chain branch of regular hotels tend not to do obviously.

The detail that are in those rooms and the wonderful gardens and surrounding countryside, I can see why you loved your stay so much!
Though I'm not sure as to whether I would want to spend a day in a true haunted house, to scared for that! :wah:
