Happy Sunday all, we are well into our 4th day of steady rain, flood warnings and such... and I am building my ark as we speak. Not sure I want to include 2 mosquitos.

Hi ya Hope and Mustang, yep the rain kinda blows but I am glad I got that grass seed in last weekend.

What is the drink special today, had to come here cause I have nothing at home to drink and don't feel like venturing out in the rain.

Perhaps a lovely blueberry tea

Blueberry Tea

1 oz amaretto almond liqueur

1 oz Grand Marnier® orange liqueur

Orange Pekoe® tea

Mix amaretto and grand marnier in a brandy snifter or glass. Add hot tea to taste.

i took some tylenol for the pain but that's all!

We sat on our deck last night and it was awesome, plus we had three teen's all lined up in chairs across from us. Love smelling what the neighbor's are cooking:-4

Yep, we spent most of the day outside too. The wife wants to pressure wash the decks today. Alot of tree pollen on them and it's drivin' her nuts.

I made this cinnamon, cumin & red pepper roast, but it was a culinary disaster:-5 Of course sometimes when I use the Betty Crocker cookbook, this is what happens.

Sometimes that happens. I don't use recipes. Just use a little bit of this and that.

It was supposed to be a Caribbean roast, but it turned into a Caribbean mess:wah:, so we were going to use it in a stir fry but hubby forgot to refrigerate it.:wah:

It absolutely poured here earlier this afternoon after a rather droughty year. I reckon we had 6 months worth of rain in a half hour! We had a huge thunderstorm, it was sooo loud! Doing good, thanks. Weather's beautiful here for a change. Been enjoying that last 3 days of sunshine. It's a good way to spend a rainy day shopping except for the running back and forth in the rain.
