Nice one Carol :-4 It's no wonder men are jealous of us sometimes, although men do have their own attributes :lips: Although we are all of the things that you have said in your post, I think we'd be a little lost without men ;) :-4

There's still the thread title, it's too good to let it go to waste.

Twenty pounds, can I start at twenty? Well maintained, only one owner since new, efficient tidier so long as the TV controls are locked out of reach. Nobody at twenty? Fifteen, then? I've a phone bid at ten pounds to start me off, fifteen at the back of the room, twenty. This one's definitely a goer, gentlemen, if you're not wearing your spectacles at the moment I suggest you get them out before the bidding ends.

Are you trying to be funny ? Or are you just a misogynist ? I just wondered why you decided to post on this particular thread, out of the blue ! When the OP has been deleted and you have no idea what the contents of it were, and you only had the title to work with ! This is only my opinion, I hasten to add.

I'd been listening to Radio 4's dramatic adaptation of Hardy's "Mayor of Casterbridge" which starts out with the future mayor auctioning his wife at the town cross, something which had happened within living memory when Hardy wrote the novel. The thread title gelled with the broadcast, I opened it and it had no remaining content. I typed the scene from memory though it seems now to have a telephone in it as well, I'm not sure where the phone came from. You're still looking for an opportunity to maul me in public then?

Hey Carol, id not take it personally babe

Look at my stats....Well over 30+ threads I took the time to post and although some got over a hundred looks, not one bothered to reply...Kind of sucks but then maybe so do my posts lol...However I found peeps liked em elsewhere.

You cant please everybody all the time and at the moment its hard to know what pleases the garden lol..

Now I just post it if I like it :-6

My question is this: How in the world could anybody ignore Carolee? She is the mother earth in our garden? She is the sweet sound of birds in the trees? She is as colorful as the beautiful wildflowers in the fields. She is both the soft gentle breeze and the strong wet rains that nourish the garden.

Carolee, this is for you.

WOW ! AFTR, you said it all, and beautifully ! Such a pity that this is not understood by more people. Such an asset to a forum should be respected and encouraged, not ignored, or worse - belittled. AFTR this is for you, on Carol's behalf :-6 :-4

Carolee, this is for you.I was gonna make a joke here asking if you was sure you was talking about me lol but I think to much of what you wrote to belittle it. I agree with Ducky there are some fab people here although many now we dont see very much of.I myself have been letting certain things get to me lately and have decided not to be here so much also.I have been lucky enough to be on thread that I am very proud of and the figures tell you why.I also have befriended some lovely people that hopefully will remain my friends for a very long time.Ive made mistakes here and Ive cried some tears here but hopefully Ive also brought something here.AFTR thankyou for that post as you have no idea what words like that meant to me.Coming from somebody like you they sure do mean alotSome may poo poo your post off and I am sure will but I really dont care as to know that at least one person can think those words that you wrote........well quite honestly is worth a thousand insincere posts......Thanks Babexxx

Not quite sure I am following any of ducks remarks in this thread  Is it just me? I have been ignored but a person like Carolly it's just plain disrespect. Carolly is posh and the nicest person to have ever blessed this forum as her own forum with the most posts will attest to. Carolly is the master seed that makes this garden grow :-6 Thread is what are women worth? Well none of us could afford Carolly (she's worth her weight in gold as the saying goes).

I wont be posting any more threads here as quite honestly there is just no point. To talk to myself I can do at home here if I want and not go through the hassle of typing lots of words to fall upon deaf ears. Its a shame that some here have seemed to shun some of us and others seem only to want to make themselves known when its having a go time.I have time after time answered peoples threads with no avail.Sometimes Ive put it down that some people dont answer everyone like we do and others are not always around but quite honestly some just cant be bothered with some of us and its as simple as that.Anyway again thankyou TM and again I say your kind words are so appreciated.
