i like most seafood too but i'm not eating a lobster, don't they have to be cooked alive? thats to much for my sensitive nature to have one of the poor things boiled alive because of me!:(

don't think of that when you eat them honey ... all the meat we eat was alive once!

yes i know all the meat we eat was alive once and i don't like it but i except it but it's the cooking alive thing that i can't get past with the lobster!

Ok well here goes......

Hmmmm not too bad, I like it though, but hard to exactly pin what it tastes like, I guess just sort of meaty hehehe.

I bet that cost a lot though didn't it, I'm pretty sure it's not exactly cheap to order?

we are fine except we've been having a heat wave and the air conditioning went out right in the middle of it!

Well, I missed Chris's problem but another day for that. Kids are off school now, so I can only pop in sporadically. How was the lobster Chris? We had steamers and crab claws yesterday with fresh corn on the cob and some flank steak. Very good.:-4

Yeah it was but as long as it is behind me then that's fine really!

Ouch the AC cut out, now that's unfortunate, and what rotten timing. We don't have AC, but we have several high powered fans that help to keep most of the house cool, and each of us is able to adjust it so that we can match whatever level of breeze we feel depending on certain things. It's really handy, because like you it's been pretty hot lately (not today mind you,) so having a cool breeze is a real benefit!

Well being the first time I've had lobster it was interesting that's for sure, hard to put my finger on it really. I think it's one of those acquired tastes, but I'll definately be trying it again!

You'll learn to love it. It can be quite sloppy when you add butter to it. So you might need a lobster bib:wah:

Yeah I'm doing fine thank you. Yep more fun (not) internet problems again for me, though this time it was actually more sinister than just my laptop, our whole connection went down for 10 days, so no internet at all, and to top it all off, they blaimed us, only to eventually find out it was them all along!! Ah well!!

Still good to be back as always, and thanks for keeping the place running and ticking along nicely, appreciate it!! :guitarist

Well I had a quick flick back through the pages, and all of you were still coming in here and posting away as normal, so just wanted to say thanks, because the pub could quite easily have started gathering cobwebs with less people in here. Though I did notice the loos could of done with a bit of a better cleaning!!
