I've been to the San Diego Zoo about 20 yrs ago. Awesome zoo. Was only in San Diego for about a day as we were traveling up and down California. It was really cool. Although I do remember being in a bar/resturant and ordering food and the bartender knew instantly "are you from Philly":wah: and we are. So busted on the West coast. Accents.

:-6:-6 Thomas I live in San Diego it is a beautiful city no matter where you go. Just pack shorts and flip flops and a sweatshirt for the cool evenings and you will fit right in.
Thing to see:
1. Zoo
2. Wild Animal Park
3. Sea World
4. LegoLand California just up the road in Carlsbad
5. Gas Lamp Quarters (Downtown)
6. Del Mar Fair ( in Del Mar) The Del Mar Horse races might be on by then it is a beautiful track and fun to go.
7. Hotel Del Coronado ( also just being in Coronado a day is beautiful)
8. Balboa Park and all the museum’s
9. Spend a day or two on any beach and we have many
10. San Diego Harbor Excursions
11. Temecula wine country tour
12. Ruben H. Fleet Science Theater in 1MAX (awesome)
13. Birch Aquarium at Scripps
14. USS Midway Museum (this is a Military town)
15. Just up the road about an hour and a half is Disney Land, Knotts Berry Farm, and Universal City.
16. Petco Park and watch a Padres Game.
