Looking for Dewey!

Post by RedGlitter »

Does anyone here have contact with Dew? (Dewey2MeOneMoThyme?) Quite a few of his friends are wondering if he's all right as we haven't heard from him in several weeks and he hasn't replied to emails. He's not been in the other forum either. I hoped someone here would know if he is okay?? We are worried!

If you hear something, please let me know, JJ. I am becoming increasingly concerned.

Yes Chezzie, I think he was redoing his kitchen in a Tuscan theme. :)

You know, taking a summer excursion.

Going to concerts, having picnics, reading books, tending to his children, shopping for a speedo.

Things other than FG.

Which may or may not be a healthy thing.

RG I so hope you find Dewey. I was looking for a lost member and found him and now regret that I just hadn't left well enough alone. I wish you all the best in trying to find Dewey and hope he/she shows up real soon for you :-6

Good lord, no he wasnt suicidal or sick just MIO. Alot of us know him a bit better and he has practically been living on another forum, he has many many friends there who are equally concerned. Main concern is that he may have come to some harm as he was doing a lot of DIY at his home. Like you say, lots come and go and its no biggie but its a little different with Dewey due to how he was on this other forum. I have myself received texts and emails if a member hasnt seen me for a while, some peeps get friendly and care about each other.

Heck it's not your time it's hers and because she and others are worried about another member I think it's great. Aren't we all a "big" family here and if I were to suddenly go MIA, I would hope someone like RG would care enough to find out why :-6

We are not upset as as matter of fact, if you went missing....oh well :wah: I hope you know I'm only kidding with you. Any member of this site is part of a family and that's just the way it is ;) I would hope if a member was leaving, they would post it so other members didn't worry or look for them. My missing "link" member who joined with me just stopped posting. My friends and I knew he wasn't like that...to just leave with not contacting any of us. I called his wife in Australia and found out that he had passed away and she didn't have his password information to let us all know. I'm hoping and praying Dewey is okay and am glad people care enough to find out :-6

Yes, he joined the same day I did 2/15/08. If I had looked at his last posts on 3/21/08 I think he was trying to tell me and the other member what was happening to him :-1

I want to apoligize to RG because her thread has become not looking for Dewey as it should be. It's become a sad place and there is NO reason to think Dewey is not okay and just busy. Sorry RG :-3

I might agree with you RJ about many people as I can't personally know everyone. But Dew because a personal friend of mine from the start, we had quite a bit in common and he has other friends at our other forum who know him even better than I have come to and they are just as concerned as I am. Sure a person can up and split at any time and they have a right to do that. Nobody here is butting into Dew's business. But when you take a liking to someone you tend to care about that person's welfare and when they break their usual pattern it's not unusual to be concerned.

Trunk Monkey, no apology needed, thank you. I appreciate your concern and input too. :)

I appreciate all your concern regarding my abrupt disappearance, and i hate to inform you all I'm still alive and kicking to some degree, my computer on the other hand had to have serious CPR performed on it. I dew appreciate the concern and caring from those of you who posted on this thread, and to those who couldn't care less, I don't blame you! :yh_rot I'm not sure how long this computer will stay up this thyme, but, if I disappear again real soon you'll know why!

Trunk Monkey, I remember when you were looking for Walaroo, and I am SO sorry of the outcome of that search.

As for this thread, I feel horrible that I haven't seen it until now....now that dewey is found safe and sound! ( I rhymed.....yay me!!)

I was one of those concerned friends at another forum and didn't see this thread here or would've definately said something sooner.

Again, so glad dewey has re-appeared....:-6

Dew fl
This could all just be a ruse..

He brought up:

Cpr: Isn't that a government farming program?

Dew: What does morning moisture have to do with disappearing?

Thyme: This seasoning could be our best clue.

Now that you see what I am talking about I would be very wary people..

I was pretty certain that I caught that nick on another forum such as this one, but chock full of fake accounts and stats... among other things ( I recognized quite a few regs from here over there, in fact... ) Anyway, it's good to see Dew back here on a real forum with real folks, though. :-6

Glad you're OK and back.

And Nomad, if that baby didn't bring him back nothing would have. I laughed out loud at that face! :yh_rotfl
