Well, not that old but new anyway.

I'm a writer of novels but as yet unpublished. I expect that to change soon as I have an editor working on a m.s. and a publisher interested in the finished article.

My main interests are solving the puzzle of Lorna Doone and I research Western History: Lawmen and Outlaws of the west.

Pablo, welcome to FG! What else do you do besides write? I'm jealous, by the way, I've always wanted to write, but really can't think of how to start.

The old West sounds like a great subject, how did you get interested in that?

Glad to have you here, looking forward to your input! :yh_peace

Firstly I should have mentioned I am in the UK which makes my 'western' hobby even odder I suppose.

My interest started when I was a kid in the fifties and sixties and has grown ever since, a bit like me although it seems to have stopped now. LOL

Greetings, and like BR I always wanted to write too. Ahhh western history, cowboys and indians, that truly is my Genre of reading. Good on ya and many folks are interested in the wild wild west. Tis a vast topic as it is very different as you head north and south. Good luck and if you stay with us long enough we would be most interested to hear of your getting published.

Cheers

Well good, you make sure you keep us posted, incidentally I am in the west hehehe heart of the wild west of Canada, when it comes to modern day cowboys and indians, the Calgary Stampede perhaps you heard of that. hehehehe

Is your work on the West mainly US or did you branch north to Canada. Some colorful characters with the North West Mounted Police (later turned into the RCMP) Sam Steele and the Steel Scouts come to mind. Granted our wild west history is rather young but still interesting too.

Hey Minx, I'm mosty into the Arizona characters. I did hear a story about a five feet four inch mountie who told Wyatt Earp where to get off. A true story I believe.

Hola Pablo, good to meet you. Now western stories, what about the Indian side of the tale........sorry, I had to say that, it is what I write. I wish you good luck on publishing, keep at it and continue on new stuff all the time! You will meet up with loads of "outlaws" in this place.
