Thanks for the welcome Hope. I still have some curls, especially around my face, but the rest of my hair is very wavy and extremely thick. My youngest daughter (16) has curly hair, very thick and very coarse. Because nothing else would work, we talked to a hair stylist we knew that ran a black persons salon and they couldn't get it to stay straight. They also told us that if she weren't blonde they would swear she was black. :wah::wah::wah:

my hair isn't extremely curly but if i try to grow it beyond a certain length it just stands out to much! :wah::wah:

My daughter uses spray gel when her hair is wet and scrunches it until it's dry...plus, that's what ponytails are for. I'm amost never without a ponytail or a braid. Mine gets curly if I cut it short because it doesn't have all the weight pulling it down.:-6

So far I'm having a blast on this site.

You are so right! With a baby around you don't have time for hair...but air drying is the only way my hair gets dry. I don't quite understand how some women with curly/very wavy hair wishes it were straight and the women with staight hair wish they could have some kind of body to it. Me? I love my hair.:-6

yeah the only way my hair gets dried is air drying too!

but i love my hair i don't wish it was straight anymore, i did when i was a child, but at least i've never had to pay for a perm! :wah::wah::wah:
