US Airlines to possibly use stun bracelets on flyers!

In an attempt to strengthen security measures for airline passengers, it has been proposed that US airlines to fit all checking in passengers with a braclet. A bracelet that could be turned into a "STUN" bracelet in the event any passenger(s) were to try to commit a terrorist act on board the plane! My first reaction was that's outreageaous! But after watching the linked video below, I somewhat softened my view. :-2

Nah.!! won't happen cost to much and I think that would be illegal. Plus it will hurt big time, and could cause some people other physical problems.

What if I'm traveling with my Aunt Fannie who has Alzheimer's and she decides to act out because she is in an unfamilar setting, their going to stun her, I don't think so.

I already have plenty of bracelets on both wrists and lots of rings on my fingers so what's another bracelet? Do I get to keep the little device after I get off the plane?:sneaky: Could come in quite handy:wah:

Why just on planes? Why not attach them permanently at birth and give every government employee a trigger unit to activate these bracelets in response to any hint of poor citizenship. Bad grades at school could qualify too, and parking too far from the sidewalk.

Well, when you think about it, passengers acting out, & or even being nasty, rude, whatever, would not be considered a "terrorist" act! It was said, that these bracelets would only be activated if the passenger(s) were trying to commit a subersive act on board the plane! As I mentioned I initially was against it, till I thought about the "what if". "What if", those SOB's on 911 had those bracelets on?! :-2

Just applying sensible security procedures and ensure that they are applied ALL the time seems to be the best idea to me.

Yup. I'm all for private enterprise doing what they feel they should. If one of 'em wants to pork themselves by alienating nearly all potential customers, I say more power to 'em.

BTW I also think the feds should get out of the baggage business as well.
