Java help

Anybody know anything about java? I'm trying to use the javac compiler through the command prompt, but it says that the program I'm trying to run cannot be found. Any advice out there?

I have no idea but these people had a similar probem, maybe it makes sense to you.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately all of that may as well be in greek.

I'm really new at thisand don't understand the technical jargon.

Does JAVA_HOME point to the JDK? A complete error message would help us identify the problem.
