quick pasta sauce
grated cheese of your choice
creme freche
boil pasta, drain once cooked add enough creme freche to make a sauce, add grated cheese and stir it in, the hot pasta will melt the cheeze, you could if you wanted place it back on the hob for a few seconds.
Of course you dont have to just have plain cheezy pasta, you could add veg ect.

For those who like to use good quality stock in their sauces / soups, once made, freeze it in batches. Has very little effect on the flavour

Wow --- what a waste of energy, besides, my oven will preheat to 450 degrees in less than 5 minutes.
