My husband was cooking a meal when we had a blackout over a large part of the city tonight. When the lights first went out, my husband said to me, "Susan, turn the lights back on". As if I would turn them out while he's cooking.
The lights were out for about an hour and a half, but luckily are back on now. We thought we were going to have to sleep with the windows open because it's so hot and humid here. We're supposed to have a heatwave for the next few days. That may be the reason for loosing electricity (if everyone has their a/c on).
