It was a nightmare! You take it for granted, until it's not there..I use mine for just about everything. A bad virus got in and I had to do a full system format, but it was waiting for the re-installation discs to arrive, that took the time. I'm steadily re-loading all my stuff back onto it, piece by piece.....Dammit! I had to read BOOKS for goodness sake, and watch TV! I probably went to the pub more than usual too..Truth be told! haha.

BOOKS.....OMG they still make those things? :p
Now visiting the local Pub ain't a bad idea becuz there sure hasn't been much on TV lately.
Never had a virus hit my pc *knock on wood* so I can only imgaine the nightmare it was for you to get it fixed. Re-loading takes time too. Yes Sir, your right about taking these machines for granted. They're used everyday.

things are going fine, the tobacco is almost as tall as i am now, and has started blooming, so we're about to hit another really busy spell as we have to break out all the blooms as they come in!

Wholy Cow! How interesting, because I've never seen tobacco grown. That is really something.

Hello Everyone:-4
That must be so nice Mustang to see all the critters from your patio. In my last home just across the bridge on the mainland (:wah:I can't help it..love saying that) I used to watch the deer walk down our street. It was a beautiful sight. We lived close to a 500 acre preserve called Cattus Island. Unfortunately, during certain months we'd hear the guns going off culling the deer...that was so heartbreaking:mad:

Hello Mustang and Jab:-4
Great to see you both tonight. Honestly, I love the little bunnies and squirrels, BUT....I planted 3'x 9' gardens at my former home filled with tommos, spices, peppers and corn. The little buggers visited sometimes. The rabbits very gently and lovingly plucked the newly planted tommos, bit off the heads and placed them back in the hole. The squirrels sat on their hind legs on my front porch eating the corn cobs with great glee....:wah::wah:
Oh well...share and share alike...:-6

i'll post you some pictures of it. it's kinda amazing it goes from a little plant to as tall as a person in about 3 months!

The squirrels are kinda funny. They run along the deck railings of the townhouses here and when they come upon mine and see me sitting there, they come to a complete stop and stare at me as if to say, 'do you mind?' :wah:
Jab, that is hysterical...the cheeky buggers..We have some squirrels here at the beach but not too many. I love to spy on them early in the morning touching everything in the yard and stealing bits and pieces left over from last night's dinner on the patio:wah:
I especially love to to see their interaction with the birds on the telephone lines. The squirrels run up the telephone pole and across the line. Before they hit the half way mark, the birds dive bomb them and attack.....The squirrels flip and flop and in the end lose the game...wooohooo birds 3, squirrels 0.
