Well tell you what..........I love our Carol, was on the phone 2 hours, like we were lost lost mates, shes bloody brilliant, I knew I knew that but now I really know lol.

Yes, she is so funny on the phone. Didn't talk long, about 10 min. Overseas calling charges:wah: It's like talking to an old friend.

yeah when Carol and i talked on the phone it was about that long probably!

she said how she liked my southern accent :wah:

and she put Chris on and i talked to him for a minute too!

she has a lovely voice!

Ere Ducky, I can't remember what Carol's voice sounds like ! We spoke on the phone ages ago, well I listened mostly :wah:

and here's me, all rigged up with webcam and microphone, can use either or both, and I don't talk to anybody :-1. I tell a lie, I talked to Kay a little while ago bless her cotton socks, and I've seen Kaz on her webcam, but no sound. I have also used my webcam to talk to Beryl in Queensland. It really is great and costs NOTHING once you've got the webcam and/or the microphone.

Hi im just popping to tell you that i have been to th hospital most of the night ,,, got back about half hour ago. My dad had another stroke,, this one rendered him unconscious and my mam phoned me in a panic,, i rang hubs but he was about half hours drive away so i told her to just call an ambulance,,, when hubs got back he took me straight there and when i got there he was now awake and able to talk and understand what people were saying to him,, but of course he was very tired ,,, wiped out really. Anyway they are keeping hm in and doing the scans etc. again!:rolleyes: god our hospital infuriates me ,, it took me 3 hours to get someone to give me some of those little sponges on a stick with some water to wet my dads mouth and lips he was so thirsty and dry,, but he cant have a drink till he is assessed for swallowing,, they kept saying oh yes he can have something to wet his lips ,, but it never arrived... honestly basic nursing just dont seem to exist there anymore:mad:

Got an email from Chez sayng she couldnt access FG,, so dunno if she is still having probs ,, and wether anyone else is:-3

Kaz so sorry to hear about your dad ! Good to hear he is awake though and seems OK but tired. He should be OK in the hospital while they check him over. Bloody patient care though, makes me furious. Just basic things seem to be put to one side, what ever happened to their so-called patients' charter ffs. I hope your mum is OK, and calmed down a little. A very traumatic time Kaz. I'm thinking of you all mate XXX

HI just popped back as i left computer on ,,, came back to turn off but checked mails again and of course this thread. thank you Kay and Kathy for your concern:-4.. when i checjed mail i had replied to chez and she replied back to say she hadnt been able to get on fg at all,,, every other site she tried was ok:-2 hope she can get on tomorrow but i have told her if not we will mail TS and see what we can do.

Carol.. see what they offer ,, then work out wether it will still be better to sell private ,, even if they take their cut it may be still bettter to sell private,, you should get quite a bit for that van.:-4

Anyway sorted me Pink laptop out fanks to Chez:D

The girl I met last night gave me her card and I looked her up on the Internet today.....very impressive I gotta say.....and did I tell you how bleedin glam she is...she looks abit like Cher:-5....if anybody wants to see her type this into Google.......by the way when she gets in touch I will see if I can get her to come here;)........info@shannah.nl....look she finks I have a really good voice so shes me mate...anybody can be who tells me that:wah:I dunno sad aint I:wah::p

Sorry about your work Carol . Have you thought of selling your stuff on ebay ? It would save you a hellova lot of money on petrol. All you need is perhaps a PO Box, plenty of packing material etc. If you can't beat em join em - you'd be surprised what folk buy off ebay !! I'm going to start selling stuff after me summer holiday.

I'm going to photo all the things I intend to sell, as soon as I'm back. Can't do it before cos of mailing stuff out that's been bought.
