also, who is this person? and why?

Joyce, i have known her since the mid 60's we were in 2nd grade. We would walk through fire for one another. Example= when my father passed. we were having a hard time paying for everything. even though she is having many $$$ problems of her own. she applied for a loan for us. on the condition. we could pay har back. what we could. when we could. i wiil never be able to thank her enough. but that is what i call a TRUE FRIEND. God blesses us with friends like this.:-6:)

I can only speak for myself, but during my lifetime I have had many friends but when it comes to what we might call a TRUE FRIEND, it's a dog. They demand and ask so little of our friendship.

I have just learned today that a true friend is not one who runs when he finds something about you he doesn't like.

Friendship is cheap these days. It shouldn't be.

To me, a true friend is someone who believes in you even when other people don't. A true friend is consistent in their loyalty and sincerity with you. A true friend doesn't dump you just because he/she has other friends. A true friend never stops caring. A true friend is like warm sunshine on a rainy day. :-6

It does not matter how many friends you have. It is the quality of their friendship. It takes years to devolpe a TRUE/BLUE friendship.I relize how blessed i truly am. I know even if we live over 1,000 miles apart. i can pick up the phone. and she knows just what to say. a true friend is one of the greatest gifts God gives us.

other reasons what true friendship is all about? -friends should be there through bad times......which many friends are not.

then some friends expect you to be there when their times are rough.......

and saying sorry for something we have done or said.......its a huge one with me.
