I'm just curious what everyone thinks about the North American Union. Appearently, this is not just a conspiracy theory. I've been looking into it and have found that the topic has been brought up in congress by both republicans and democrats (some of the videos can be seen on youtube. Check out the video "to prime minister stephen harper N.A.U.). Officially the plan is called "The Agreement on Security and Prosperity" (others call it Super NAFTA). Plans are already being made for a 10 lane super highway from Mexico, through Texas and the midwest and into Canada. Also google NASCO (North Americas SuperCorridor Coalition).

I don't know anything about this, but here's what I could find from the US & Canadian gov'ts. There's a lot of negativity on this out there, of course. What bugs me is that any international agreement is a treaty, and treaties must go through Congress. "He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;" Article II, section 2 of the US Constitution.

I don't get the secrecy, if it's such a good thing for the US. Personally, I like the Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness agreement that's been in place since 1776, but nobody seems to remember that one.
