hi everyone,

not staying long, have to work at 6pm and also because it looks like we've got a massive storm brewing out there.

im actually sitting here with the lights on cos i cant see what im doing :-2

i've filled a flask with hot water so if the electric does go, i can have a cuppa.

managed to get the dog out in the dry but it looks like a night of tv and lights on so he dosnt want to go out and catch the flashin lights :rolleyes::-3

i could have done that quite easily when i was in there !! i went out and sat in me mates car to have a ciggie cos it was raining and no one questioned where id been or where i was going !!!

My dad is quite low today he really thought he would be coming hime,, but occupational therapist wnats him to do some tests tomorrow ,, make a cup of tea,, see how he manages in and out bath etc. ,,, dunno why its not as iif he lives by hmself,, my mam is tere for him ,,, anyway my brother got a bit upset too and said dads coming home tomorrow wether anyone likes it or not! :-5 anyway i gotta make some tea, just because i am the woman, the wife, the mother tut! be back again though :-4

Just be careful Mrs. if you have a thunder storm, I should switch off your laptop and pull the plug out, also the TV, till the storm's past by several miles. Have you got an anti surge plug board for your laptop?

I would have thought that the hospital would have been pleased to have regained a bed ! Still maybe the tests are necessary, and may tell them extra things. Good for your brother though, putting his foot down like that.

I'm glad you put a TUT in there Kaz, I've missed them

no i havnt but i never leave it plugged in anyway.

Yes they always seem to be saying they need beds yet there has been days gone by while he just sits there and waits for the next test:-5 these tests tomorrow are just to assess how he manages around the house,, but llike i said my mam is there for him ,, and if he dont pass the tests whats the point of keeping him there ,, they cant make him any better or thay surely would have done so in the past year!

Hi there Kinksy !! Pleased you're feeling a little better Mrs. But if you should start to feel worse for Pete's sake book in to the doc's. You never know, he may be able to help you much quicker than you can help yourself. Also he will, no doubt, be able to rule out anything serious !!! :rolleyes:

Hi Ducky ! I used to be in a band when I was younger, playing electric guitar and doing solo vocals and harmony :sneaky:

This picture was taken at a gig in Leicestershire in the middle of England, and it was in my 'afro hair' days !!!!

I remember playing at a huge miners welfare club, could take over 1000 people in the body of the hall, and the stage housed 4 table tennis courts on a couple of the weekday evenings ! We set up our gear on this enormous stage so that we looked a bigger band than we really were ! I had to have a 'runner' to get a message to the drummer ! (nah not really :wah: ) - mind you I did take some binoculars to see the music on the organ !! he he he.

Carol rang me about 4-30pm, she has passed her van over and they were emptying it. Chris was having to drive back with one load and then return to she probably wont get bak on till late tonight. She was sad:-1..Was a nice suprise for me as I didnt know she was going to ring:-4

Went to the aquarium place to buy a new fish tank as we want a big one now for all the fish to go, got home and bits are bloody missing out of it...Have to back there tomorrow now:-5

Corrrrrr its hot n sticky and humid here, sat in me knicks and a vest top...thats it and im sweating like 10 pigs in a sauna:wah:

Well iv'e drunk two bottles of foster twist and they made me hotter lol...Doom & Gloom sounds a treasure:D
