i dont think that kaz, the summers here ( ha bloomin ha !!) for some of us, people have things to do, eg like me working more hours or gardening, holidays etc.

i know theres a few bits on tv i like to keep up with too. im only here now cos my bosses grandson is covering for me cos ive got to be in early tomorow so i can go to hospital then ive got to work tomorrow night so i doubt i will be on here much then.

poor carol is busy sorting out her vvvpv and i know how far she has to travel back and forth so i expect shes tired and a bit upset over it.

gill has a few probs with her hubby being ill, like you with your dad also kay has the same thing.

like i said last night, it takes it toll on us all.

i did read somewhere that a sneeze comes out at about 135 miles per hour, thats why you automatically shut your eyes when you sneeze too, cos they would come out at the same rate !!!:-2

Hi everybody ! Sorry I've not been on today ! I've had a shitter of a day, but my hubby is feeling much better during the day. Had very little sleep last night because of Chris not being well at all, so caught up a bit this afternoon ! Had to do stuff in the house anyway, that doesn't wait for anybody !!

Hope you've had a good day, it's been fairly warm here today, but there has at least been a breeze so we haven't been cooked !

Sorry I've missed folks on here today, but will try to get on more often tomorrow. All sorts happening at home, at the moment - it never rains but it pours!

Nice news that gas prices will increase a further 35% before next winter - where the f...k do they think pensioners are going to get the money to pay for heating and cooking ???? I suppose it is one way of ridding themselves of a drain on resources i.e. it will cut down expenditure by the government for pensions, as many OAPs will not be able to survive the winter ! Would make more sense if they closed our borders to all these flaming immigrants --- that is where the government is spending too much money !!

Let's hope that tomorrow will bring a better day to everybody who has not had such a good day today !!! :-6

I saw your post Kaz and I also saw the text you sent me babe.Yes this thread WILL die if the support goes and people dont come on here when they see it needs the support.Kaz saw 3 people around while she sat talking to herself and shes very upset.I know that nobody has to come on here.....why should they....but at the same time some support should be given when needed by a friend as thats what makes this thread what it is Thanks Chez as Ive seen posts you made today and yet you still found the time to drop by a few times.I know some of you come on here as much as you can and enjoy it.....its just destressing to see our Kaz so upset as she clearly was and I know exactly how she feels.Nobody is forced to come on here and dont ever feel you have to....but also be aware that many of the friendships we have is thanks to this thread and like any friend in life one day you could wake up and find that friend gone.....dont let the friend who has become a big part of us go.....dont let this thread die.Of course at the end of the day.......its your choice.

Hi Carol !! You must be knackered !! Yes it is a long job sorting and clearing stuff and I feel for you cos I know that you loved having the VVVPV. Still as others have said, who's to know what is round the corner Mrs - things happen for a reason, as you have said yourself in the past.

Don't worry about this thread, it is now a well established part of Forum Garden. People come and go. People have things happening in real life which must take precedence over internet stuff. Everybody has problems, as you know, that cause them to be absent from the thread from time to time. It does not mean the thread is dying FFS. Bear in mind that it is holiday time in the UK, it is busy time in the USA, not sure what time it is in Australia

So worry not. You cannot expect there to be 150 posts on this thread every day, because there will be times when people will not be able to post, and sometimes it will coincide that a lot of people will not be able to post on the same day. That is just the way it goes sometimes. :rolleyes:

I would like to thank the FOC'er for bumping up Buttercup's "travelling t-shirt thread." I felt so badly that this thread had died because someone, somehow, lost the t-shirt in cyber space. That was an awful, awful thing to do as this shirt would have touched everyone in our forum with a little kiss if you wanted to participate. To me, this thread simply meant that we can touch each one with a little kiss of good luck....I sent it on with a spirit of good luck to Bryn and hope that Buttercups and my kiss will reach all of you:-4

Well it was freezing this morning, ice all over the car but by lunch time it was nice in the sun but now you can feel the cold air coming again brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Have decided to keep fostering instead of going out to work as I miss my little cherubs too much:-4

I love the FOC thread its the most important thread here for me and I do try and participate as much as poss. Yesterday I was out a bit, also I have other forums I help on so sometimes I may look like im here when im not. I try to reply to all but sometimes even I struggle for a reply. This thread wont die Carol but I understand your post completely and I understand why.

Right, we went to cinema and as we got to the kiosk, they announced Kung fu panda was sold out so we watched Wall-E instead which was fab and my lovely MIL bought me and the girls tickets to go and watch Kung fu panda today so im off to the flicks,....again...catch you later guys xxxxx
