i'm not a great "sit down in a cinema" movie fan ... but i went to see the dark knight the other day ...
heath ledger .... the late heath ledger was brilliant as the joker ... wonder who is gonna take over from him ... johnny depp ... has been mentioned as the next villain ...
anyway that isn't the point ... the point is the silence of the lambs ... one of the finest horror movies i have ever seen ... jodie foster ... and sir something who's name escapes me as hannibal ... ah i remember ... anthony hopkins as hannibal lector ...
the great red dragon paintings of william blake was part of this scene ...
google it ... the paintings are awesome!

You reminded me of something, JJ. :)There is a painting in Cher's movie, "Tea with Mussilini", that my daughter had in her bedroom for several years. I was indeed surprised to see it in the movie. It looked like it was painted in the 1930's, (the hairstyle of the blonde mother figure in the painting) and was rather large. I'm sure we only had the print and this was discarded by someone else.
