Thats when everything starts going wrong, things dont arrive, people let you down & you want to kill several members of your family. Remember that week?
Wellllllllllllllll............. thats where i am right now.
Please save me turning into Bridezilla, cheer me up & tell me your stories of how everything worked out ok in the end & you can laugh about it now.
I got married abroad in the Dominican Republic and it went smoother than a new born botty...Not one hassle from the day he proposed to the day we married...
Yeah, but I doubt it will help you. A week before we went and got our rings, then our marriage license, we both worked half a day, went and got married at the court house then were back at work the next day. That's almost 17yrs ago and the only important thing to us was that we were married and together.:-4
Hubby and I were married in front of the justice of the peace at the county courthouse. As a matter of fact, I married my first hubby the same way. No fuss...no muss.:wah:
Take a deep breath, remind youself what really matters, and enjoy the moment. And enjoy that man you'll be marrying soon.
I don't think you could ever be a bridezilla Buttercup. You're probably stressed out and frazzled. Planning a wedding, I think, is one of the most stressful things to do. I don't have a horror story because I got cold feet and cancelled everything......:-6...a few times:wah:
Wishing you and Andy the best of love, peace and happiness:-4
never mind anyone else,, its your day important to both of you, have a wonderful day regardless. the only thing that matters is you are going to be married, and that will happen no matter who is there or not there or even if your flowers dont turn up... have a wonderful wonderful day and a fantastic married life!:-6:-4
FOC THREAD PART1
In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
Every Bride wants the 'Perfect' wedding day and drive themselves 'NUTS' trying to plan this perfect day,
BUT
Just calm down and relax and remember if only 'the Preacher' 'your boyfreind ' and you show up ,then what will happen ,is what you said yes to all those months back when he ask and you said yes,
:)Congradulations to both of you and may you have a long
and happy life.
There are no savage and civilised peoples; there are only different cultures.
I got married the day after Christmas, so that was a unique challenge! but our wedding went off without a hitch! the only problem we had was a long winded preacher who talked for almost an hour! and when we tried to go back down the aisle, my husband was in such a hurry, he grabbed me and started pulling me down the aisle before my maid of honor could move my train, so we almost fell over it! :wah::wah:
don't worry darlin, your wedding is gonna be beautiful, i just know it, and i'm very excited and happy for you! :-6
We got married on July 1st with a scheduled baptism the next day for our 1 yr old daughter which also happened to be my dad's birthday. The 1 yr old had just had a birthday a week before and then on top of it was July 4th. Years later we had another child born the week before July 4th also. We celebrate the anniversary in August.:wah:
