How Often Due You Drink Wine?

Post by Lon »

Me? Daily, as I tend to think of it as food rather than an alcoholic beverage.

I have been drinking wine on a daily basis since the late 60's, generally two, sometimes three glasses per day. Some times a glass with lunch and two with dinner. I am pleased to read the most recent reports from the Medicos that tout the benefits of RESVERATROL, an ingredient of red wines that supposedly promotes longevity and good health. I am at a loss however to understand if the wine enhances the flavor of the food or the food enhances the flavor of the wine. I need to investigate this further. Bon Appetit

Always hated the stuff, but I did love wine coolers! Haven't touched any alcohol now for almost 5 years.

Your Aussie "Yellow Tail" wines sell very well here in California where they compete with California wines. The price is very low for the bigger 750 ml bottles. Their popularity is due I am sure to not only being pretty good but also the price. Your more expensive wines can compete with anyone's in my opinion.

Almost always have a bottle of white in the fridge, don't drink red much (too heavy for me) but love cooking with it!
