Do You Have A Favorite Piece Of Jewelry?
Everyone seems to have one piece of jewelry that they are particularly fond of and it's not necessarily expensive, just special. Mines a wax cast pinky ring with a good piece of jade in it. What's yours?

I have a Star Sapphire ring my father gave me when I was promoted to 9th grade. I have worn it everyday since then until the band got so thin I took it off for fear of misplacing it. Now that you made me think of it I will get it fixed as I love it very much. :-4

Do You Have A Favorite Piece Of Jewelry?
I have many pieces that are extra special to me. I'm not frivolous but I love jewelry and my loved ones know this so when they give me a present it's most often jewelry.
The last gift my mother gave me before she left the world was a braided white gold necklace.
My dad gave me a gold ring; a heart shaped blue topaz surrounded by diamonds.
They were for my 40th birthday.
Those two are my most favorite pieces ever for obvious reasons.
So those aside I also have a silver Victorian sweetheart bracelet full of silver coins that have been engraved with myriad designs and initials. It's probably my most unusual piece and dates back to the 1880's.

Like so many others I have to say my wedding and eternity ring I never take them off.
The bracelet my OH gave me for my 40th (makes a noise like little bells)
My mothers wedding ring and grandmas engagement ring
and the claddagh I got from my aunt when I was 6, everyone in the family wears one, it was like graduating into the family to get that.
I still wear a claddagh but not the same one thats safely locked away.

My watch isn't exactly one worth it's weight in gold but I actually love it...
I've payed roughly $120.00/ £60.78 for it and I've had it for over 8 years and it doesn't miss one minute...
It boggles my mind to see people go out and buy $20-$30 watches only for it to stop working regardless of the battery or not within a month let alone a year...
It's worn out but still hasn't lost it's shine...I can get it wet without having to worry about it and it can take your average nick...
Mine looks like this one but the band is thicker and I have a black face plate...

I have a gold necklace with a butterfly on it that my mum and dad gave to me when I came back to Northern Ireland to continue school. I wore it every day while I was away from them. I still wear it :-4
