Again, i welcome you to the group, and hope you get some positive feedback from other parents who share your problems. I think it`s excellent that you can post about your experience.

Hi Chattergal

I have an eight year old boy who has 'dyspraxia' also trying to investigate Autism.

To all intents and purposes my son 'looks normal', but emotionally he is still at the age of a four to five year old. He has very poor muscle tone, and I'll never forget the physiotherapist being amazed he could walk at all, he's very determined. I fought hard for him to attend mainstream school which he loves sometimes!!

I also have a normal three year old little girl who is far too advanced for her years!!

Welcome to the garden and I hope you visit us often!:-6

My loverly neice is 22 and I think about 3 or 4 mentally. No reason they could find, but she doesn't let that bother her. She's having fun, enjoying life, and dragging smiles out of whoever glances her way. It's a challenge for my sister, to be sure, but she has proven herself well worthy.
