Me too Jimbo, always have done.

Walking past peeps, smilin and say hello, see the look of sheer delight in some faces makes me feel good. Hell I might be the only person they got to speak to that day or smile at. Costs nothing but dividends are plenty.:-6

Were are the normal ones Jimberooo, eh who said that:-3:-2:D

I talk to everyone. The downside is, quite a few times, I've been trapped in conversations with total lunatics because of it. :wah: It starts out with a friendly hello and then I get to hear their medical problems, their family problems, or the miracles in their lives.

My dad was a talker. He never met a stranger. After he retired he visited one of a number of coffee shops each morning talking to other older people, young people, young gals, he didn't care. When he died there were several hundred at his visitation. 2/3rds of the people at his visitation were strangers to the rest of the family, but they knew him from morning coffee.

Sounds so much like my dad, everywhere he went he knew someone. We didn't know so many people at his funeral and the line during the visitation went around the block...and for the procession to the cemetary, cops had to block off some major intersections because there were so many cars.

Me, I'll talk to people unless hubby is with...he talks to everyone and I can't get a word in edgewise. :wah:

Nearly every morning the meter guys are out collecting money from the parking meters. Although we've never had a conversation we always speak and say good morning. They have such a bright smile while carrying around those heavy sacks full of coins. Frankly, I don't know how they do it.

And every afternoon the armoured car is parked behind my car as I leave for the day. We don't speak but we wave at each other every day and smile. I don't dare approach the vehicle but it's a good feeling anyway that they can be sure I'm not about to rob them! :D
When choosing between two evils, I always like to take the one I've never tried before.

I'm not much of a talker, but I do greet folks with a smile or a "hey". I try to remember a person's name so I can say it when I greet them. :)

yes i talk to everybody! :D

i got this from my dad, nobody was a stranger to him, he talked to everyone and had a smile ready for everyone! i'm the same way!

and people seem to be drawn to me because of it, i'm always being asked to help someone find something in the grocery store! :)

i have helped more little ladies get things off the top shelf at the store because they weren't tall enough to reach it! :wah:

and i have gotten trapped in a few conversations too!

I talk to just about anyone but I made it a point to say hello more to an elderly person. I think sometimes no one takes the time to even give them the time of day.
