U.k Gas Prices Up By 35%

Is it just me, or as we are all equally annoyed at the cost of fuel, I am livid that i now have to pay an extra 35% for my gas bill?

In the last week since the announcement, I have been phoned by numerous alternative suppliers offering me a new deal. All they have done is left me confused as to who they really are.

Oscar, I think you will find that all the gas suppliers (that's not petrol for our USA friends) will all raise their prices, if not now, it will be very soon.

Your right Saga, but i don't see wages going up to match all these increases.

In my line of miniscule power, I have the pleasure of being on the deciding committee of our local council that includes housing. We do a lot of good such as getting better housing for genuine asylum seekers but if only you could see what money is wasted on such trivial nonsense.

Example, i lost the will to live a fortnight ago when listening to the committee debate for 4 hours over what colour to make the new leaflet.

All committee members have taxi's to & fro these meetings etc & the expense is unbelievable.

Money is no issue in local government but then i struggle to pay my gas bill & my fuel for the car.

Or am i just being a grump??
