I cant reply in the journal section for some reason.............the way you describe your land and the castles sounds very cool Id love to see some pics if you could ?

Historic monolithic places blow me away ! Id be very interested.............could ya ?

Thanks ! Im interested in landscape, castles for sure, anything medieval, just a real sense of what Scotland is like.

Contrary to previous statements Scotland is high on my list of places Id like to see.

how odd, they all show on my screen, i'll e-mail the pics to lady cop & she can put them up, to feel the majesty of scotland tho you really have to stand on the coastline & breathe in the air, its impossible to leave

Id like to imagine you have dragons there but thats probably asking too much ;)are your security settings too high? the pics do show up. and i was unable to post the ones Buttercup sent me. a suggestion if you are interested in the lovely Scotland...google, you will get lots of sites. and if you have the chance, watch for "monarch of the glen" on PBS. stunning scenery!

Thank you Lady C Ill save that & check it out.

PBS is a great source of information for such things. I wish the Travel channel were more in depth it could be a great station.

I dont know about the settings though I see pics everywhere else just not here ????

Heres some more pics we took of the castles in N. Wales. Conwy, Caernarfon, and Harlech. The last was taken at the top of Mt. Snowdon. Which we hiked, btw! God, that was good for the soul! We havent developed all the film yet, but as soon as it's done, I'll be posting more pics in the journal section.
