There's this woman...

The other day she told me that, because I dislike and distrust other men, I'm vain and I have a problem. I don't see what the problem is, or how I'm vain, she said ask anyone, so I hope you don't mind if I ask you?
I'm too compassionate to be an utter bastard.

Too self respecting to be a caring idiot.

Too much pride to give up the self respect.

And not willing to take the rap for a lack of compassion.

Where does this leave me? Nowhere. What does this leave me? Nothing. Who does this leave me? Noone.

I don't see the connection between disliking or distrusting others and how that makes one vain. Nor how being vain is any sort of a problem, although I see how it can be... everything in moderation, right? I do generally deem others who aren't trusting to be untrustworthy, however.

Watcher, I'd love to help you, except I don't know you or what you've been through. I know bitter women against men, because of their past experiences (I'm not real bitter, but have had some real crappy experiences with men) and they still are able to have loving relationships with men....Sounds like this woman just was speaking her mind on how she felt at the time .....maybe!

I have this recurring dream.

A spider has laid eggs in my brain and when they hatch they come scampering out of my ear by the hundreds.

(Not to be confused with the french fries protruding from Jimbos ear.

Totally unrelated.)

Yup----------I always thought you were very vain and opinionated, but other than that, intelligent, a quick study and very erudite, taking all things into consideration.

No way that I can help... I dont know anything about you. I never really heard of men not trusting other men, or the not trusting vanity combo thing.

I simply base my criteria for trusting people on the person. Gender doesnt enter into it.
