The 99th Monkey

Post by koan »

In honour of our new member, I followed a few google links and discovered

"I am the 99th Monkey. If you don't get me, you don't get your critical mass, and it screws up the whole works. I seem to be single-handedly holding back the Great Paradigm Shift of the Golden Age simply through my continuing to be a resistant little putz." The 99th Monkey - A Spiritual Journalist's Misadventures with Gurus, Messiahs, Sex, Psychedelics, and Other Consciousness-Raising Experiments by Eliezer Sobel

What a relief to have a putz on FG to keep jimbo company. :yh_giggle

I haven't read the book but it sounds delightful. If our own 99th Monkey is as resistant to the peer pressure of the masses as he claims we might finally be able to achieve our counter culture movement intended to topple the universe as we know it.

I think he thinks we're the culture he intends growing in, surely.
