How often do you cut them?

Do you cut them in the bathroom or does this ever take place in another room?

What is the least gross way to clean up the clippings?

I have to at least every other week. I usually do it on the couch, but they are so hard they shoot all over, so I get the vacuum out. :wah: When I was little, I used to just bite my toenails...I can still do it, but I choose not too. :wah::wah:

I go out on the patio and sit on a lounge chair to cut my toenails since they are so thick and fly off in any direction when I cut them. I am thinking about buying a small chain saw to do the job. Seems like I cut them every two weeks or so. Any less frequent and I risk slashing the sheets or doing serious injury to my wife.

Whenever I have the cheesegrater in my hand and I happen to be stood next to the sink barefoot, so long as there's nobody else in the room and not much crockery waiting to be washed.

I'm glad you asked...

How often? When they start poking through the socks...

Where? No room is safe and they have been known to ricochet off walls and into adjoining rooms...

The least gross way to clean up the clippings is to just leave them for the dog...

I cut mine every 3 week outside so they can fly off without me doing any harm.

Outside or the garage is preferrable.

If it is done indoors the operation is performed on a paper towel with close scrutiny of the surrounding area for flying debris.

Why do you ask ?

I do mine over a carrier bag...just scoop 'em up and plonk 'em straight in the bin, no grossness!

I throw a foot into the bathroom sink and moisten the nails slightly, they're easier to cut and don't fly all over the place. :)

yes, I'm very flexible. :p
