If You Could Bring A Dead Rock Star Back To Life

Post by jones jones »

If you could bring a dead rock star back to life for one gig, who would it be?

John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Buddy Holly, Freddie Mercury?

Or someone else?

This Day in Music are carrying out a world-wide survey to see which dead rock

stars people would want to see again ...

Who would you pick?

I would like to meet Mama Cass and Karen Carpenter and let them know how beautiful and talented they were........just as they were. They were unique and special ladies, and it was so sad to see their lives end so soon.

Noddy Holder. What a guy. I'd bring him back just for an evening down the pub with the chap, getting him on stage would be excessive.

Jeff Buckley.

Grace was his opus.

It shouldn't have been that way.

But he isn't dead! Is he?

Certainly he was around at the start of the year and I've not heard otherwise recently.

I'd recently seen a documentary on how John Lennon was massacred...

I couldn't think of a more atrocious circumstance...

I literally have a heart weighed in stone because of it...

Words fail me...

Im sorry but the whole concept of bringing cadavers to life and playing with dead people is extremely morbid. Sitting in a room with a decayed dead guy re-animated isnt my idea of a good time.

I think Ill take a walk in the park now, maybe Ill see some "live" people to cheer me up.

Freaks !
